Purchasing Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are purchased just like any other item in our store. You can pay for them using the standard payment method(s).
Once your payment has been processed, generally within 24 hours, a code will be sent via email to you, the purchaser of the Gift Certificate. The code will also be available in the Gift Certificates I have purchased section of your Account.

How to Give Gift Certificates

From the Gift Certificates I have purchased section of your Account, you may view your purchased Gift Certificate codes and/or print your Gift Certificates. Your gift recipient only needs the 10-digit gift certificate code to be able to use the value of the gift certificate. Remember that the 10-digit code for each gift certificate released to you will also been emailed to you. Protect the gift certificate code like cash! Once a gift certificate is used, it cannot be restored.
You have 5 days from the date of release in which to access your purchased Gift Certificate codes and/or print your Gift Certificates.

Using Gift Certificates

During the checkout process, on the same page that you select a payment method, there will be a box to enter a Coupon or Gift Certificate Code. Enter the code here, and click the Apply button. The code will be validated and the full amount will be added to your Account as "Account Credit". Your Account Credit will then be applied to your current order total; the "Check this box to Apply Account Credit to payment" box will be automatically selected.
Your current Account Credit total will always be visible in your Shopping Cart box at the top right corner of each page of our site, whenever you are logged into your customer account.
Note that if your Gift Certificate is more than the order total, the excess amount will remain in your Account to be used for future purchases.
Protect the gift certificate code like cash! Once a gift certificate is used, it cannot be restored.

Using Account Credit

If you have remaining funds in your Account from Gift Certificates not used in full, you can use those funds to purchase items in our store. At the checkout stage, an extra box will appear labeled "Check this box to Apply Account Credit to payment". Ticking this box will apply those funds to your order total.
Please note, you will still have to select another payment method if there is not enough in your Account to cover the cost of your purchase. If you have more Account Credit than the total cost of your purchase, the balance will be left in your Account for future purchases.

Converting a Gift Certificate directly to Account Credit

You may convert a Gift Certificate that you have received directly into Account Credit. To do this, go to the Account Credit section of your account. Select the Convert Gift Certificate into Account Credit link there and follow the instructions to convert the full amount of your Gift Certificate directly into Account Credit.
Please note that once a Gift Certificate code has been converted into Account Credit, it will no longer be a valid code.

Gift Certificate Terms

Protect and treat Gift Certificate Codes as you would cash. A code cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Codes are not exchangeable for cash. Code carries no expiration date, processing fee, service charge, dormancy fee, or administrative fees. Subject to state and federal laws and regulations, which vary and may change. Therefore, terms and conditions affecting this code may change without notice. Gift Certificate funds can only be applied to orders from MouthpieceExpress.com. Gift Certificate funds may not be used to purchase additional Gift Certificates. Any balance remaining in an account as Account Credit is not refundable or redeemable for cash except where required by law.
