Shipping Fees

Shipping charges include shipping and handling, packing materials, and customs paperwork (if applicable). In the case of international shipments, shipping charges DO NOT include customs taxes and/or brokerage fees. These taxes/fees are the customer's responsibility and are collected by your government upon delivery. Consult your local authorities about the tax rates for your country.

Shipping Estimates

Please note that shipping estimates for special orders and modifications are approximate time frames, not a guarantee. Averages are based on past performance and may vary depending on the manufacturer and the workload our shop is currently experiencing.

Delivery Assurance Coverage

We offer Delivery Assurance Coverage for $2 per first $100 value, then $.50 per $20 thereafter against lost or damaged packages. With Delivery Assurance Coverage, your shipment will be replaced if lost or damaged during shipping. You will see Delivery Assurance Coverage in our checkout system when you checkout. If you deselect this option, lost or damaged packages cannot be replaced.

Special Orders

Shipping time will be affected if you purchase special services such as gold plating, special throats/backbores, or other custom mouthpiece work as well as non-standard mouthpieces. The delay for special order items and services varies by item, service and manufacturer. Please contact us for details.

Backorders

We attempt to keep as complete and well-rounded inventory as possible. However, backorders occur from time to time despite our best efforts. We make no claims or guarantees about availability by posting products for sale on MouthpieceExpress.com. The products of some manufacturers are particularly popular -- these manufacturers sometimes experience considerable delays in providing us with product to sell to you. Please review these policies about backorders:

  1. If some of the items in your order are backordered, but other items are in stock, we hold the in-stock items until all backordered items arrive and ship all items together. One shipment saves you money, as the shipping courier charges each time they deliver. We will ship items separately only if you request it -- if you request separate shipping you will be charged for shipping for each shipment.
  2. Backorder notifications: For orders of stock (non-special order) items, we will inform you via email of backorders as soon as possible after the date of your order. We will estimate the arrival time of the backordered items, but please note that the estimate is not a guarantee of delivery time. The estimate is based on those suppliers' history of delivering like items. Additional delays can and do occur.
  3. Special order items: Generally, each special order item has an advisory statement on its product page telling the average delay for that item. For those items, we do not send an email notification of backorder or delay unless we know that item will be delayed longer than usual. If you have questions about the delay for a particular special order item, contact us.
  4. Premium shipping: If your order includes backordered items and you requested premium shipping (such as FedEx 2 Day, Standard Overnight or Priority Overnight), we will ship to you using that shipping service unless you request otherwise. We can change your shipping option at any time up to the time of shipping.

Daily Shipping

We ship Monday through Friday, except when we close to observe holidays.
For all Premium packages (e.g. Overnite, 2nd Day, etc.) our cut off time is 11:00 AM EST.

IMPORTANT

If you receive a notification from us that we have shipped and you do not receive your shipment within a reasonable period of time:

Domestic US customers must contact us within 15 days after shipping to notify us of missing shipments.

International customers must notify us within 45 days after shipping to notify us of missing shipments.

Customers who do not notify us of missing shipments within the specified notification period will not be eligible for shipment replacement or refund.

Domestic US Shipping

We use the US Postal Service and FedEx as our shippers. We offer you the following domestic US shipping services:

International Shipping

We ship internationally via US Postal Service Airmail . The US Postal Service estimates 4-7 day USPS Airmail Delivery. This is an estimate only; it is not a guaranteed delivery time. Also, please allow extra time for packages to be processed through Customs. Delays in Customs are not unusual. We cannot offer guarantees on shipping time for international orders.

Why are some shipping options not available for my country?

Due to recent changes in the United States Postal Services shipping policies regarding insurance we can no longer offer some shipping methods for our international customers.

We must report the correct purchase price on customs forms. We cannot designate international shipments as "gift" or "sample," and we cannot misrepresent the amount of sale on invoices for the purposes of avoiding customs taxes.

Free or Discounted Shipping

Mouthpiece Express occasionally offers a Free Shipping Promotion on selected products. If you purchase a Free Shipping Promotional item, Mouthpiece Express will select the shipping method that balances time in transit, cost, and dependability of the delivery method. Most Free Shipping Promotional orders will be shipped by USPS. Delivery Assurance is still an option with the Free Shipping Promotion. Please review the information next to the Delivery Assurance icon on the shipping page during checkout for more details about that excellent offering. All free shipping promotions are intended for customers within the United States only unless otherwise noted.

Returns & Shipping Fees - when original shipping is free: If a Free Shipping Promotional item is returned, your refund will be calculated less the regular shipping charges for the method used when the item was shipped. Example: An item that sold for $49.45 with the Free Shipping Promotion is returned; we would refund you the $49.45 less the regular cost of shipping the item to you. In this example, it was first class USPS mail for $3.78, so your refund would be $45.67. Cleaning or restocking fees would be deducted from the refund amount as well.
