***SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT PROPER FITTING OF YOUR NEW SLIDE*** Rarely, will a replacement slide work straight from the manufacturer. The new slide will need to be fitted. This is done in most cases by a competent repair shop with lapping compound and small adjustments to the slide, and the receiving tubes of the instrument. Fitting the slide is an important part of the slide replacement process, it will assure a smooth, tight fit.
