It has a very comfortable rim with a cup that is not too deep. The results of this combination form a mouthpiece hat has an excellent characteristic sound, and facilitates all registers of the instrument. S-H 31.84 1.253" 1-1/4" M.295" This model is an adaptation of another original Helleberg with a rim contours slightly different from the one that was used for our #66. This mouthpiece has a sound that is both clear and dark. SH-II 32.76 1.290 O.316" The "Helleberg SHII" is made along the same lines as the 66,67, and standard Helleberg. SH-IIF 32.76 1.290 O.316" The "Helleberg SH-IIF" has the same rim as the Helleberg SH-II but with a shallower bowl-shaped cup to accommodate the smaller F tuba. The throat is smaller than the SH-II. The backbore is slightly larger, similar to a Schmitt shape that opens up quicker under the throat to reduce resistance. SHII-CLE 33.27 1.310 O.323" **NEW** Developed working with Yasuhito Sugiyama, Principal Tuba of the Cleveland Orchestra, the SHII-CLE features a design which is a modification of the classic SHII. A larger inner diameter, slightly deeper cup, larger throat, and subtly lighter weight combine to offer a vibrant & colorful tone with quick response.. GEIB 32.76 1.290 5/16.3125" The Geib model has the same inside diameter as the Helleberg SH-II with a modified rim contour. The Geib cup is more bowl-shaped and slightly shallower than the SH-II. They are a little more difficult to control, but the extra effort repays dividends. The inner rim contours are a little rounder for players who need to spend long hours in practice or performance. Much research has gone into the subtle reworking of the exterior shape to give even more powerful maximum dynamics and volume in all registers. 1XL Large Fitting 32.50mm 47.35mm 7.48mm 8.43mm open 2XL Large Fitting 32.00mm 47.35mm 7.73mm 8.45mm open 3XL Large Fitting 31.25mm 47.35mm 8.11mm 8.78mm large barrel Denis Wick Mouthpieces (Table 2) Tuba Mouthpiece Descriptions 1 For all large tubas.
